This
is a template to help you pick out colors and style to your website.
I have placed color boxes around so that you can select the ones you
like. To the right of this screen you can see different text colors
and size. Imagine the left side a menu that can list different
sections to your website. It would look similar to David
Myer's website. The background, gradient borders, and text can all
be changed to colors that you prefer. Size can be changed as
well. The Norman E. Rosenthal graphic image is at low quality at the
moment to demonstrate the idea of having your name labeled there. I
can alter it in many different ways. Above, where it says "you
can place a message here" you can place a welcome message and then
every time you click on a section to the left that message will become a
title to that section. This area you are currently reading is the
content area. For the most part everything around stays the same and
only this white space will be used for content. The top left corner
is an area that I recommend for using quick important links. They
stand out a little more but are also the most important functions.
You can decide what's most important but I have placed examples in there
for now. The top right section can be used for whatever you
like. You could place newly added links there for example. The
base for this website is built. It is mostly made of invisible table
structures so that any web browser at any resolution can view it.
Everything is resizable. The theory is that on the left side there
is a menu like function and the right side there is content. On the
top should be constant information. You may also use space below the
surounding box for whatever you like as well. The space under the
menu can be used as well for things such as the webring. As for
doing each section imagine this white area as a single page on your
existing website except that each section we reconstruct one at a
time. We will work on the look first and as we make changes as a
little more content to help imagine the final look. After a style
has been agreed on adding content into new sections will be next.
